    • I can’t do Black Mirror. I started, because I’m fascinated with how technology is changing us. But it’s just too dark.

Watch the “San Junipero” episode of BLACK MIRROR. It was totally excellent!!! It was totally Eighties!!! This one has a happy ending. This one was not about doom & gloom.
I still think you’re giving up on BLACK MIRROR too easily. I MADE myself watch it and was glad I did!!!

That wasn’t my favorite, either. Was this “Shut up and Dance”? This was was the one where they had footage of the kid wanking in front of his laptop. His younger sister unwittingly installed malware on it. Toward the end, the kid fights a duel with another guy and he’s arrested. A trollface appears on his phone.
They did everything the hackers wanted & their families still found out about whatever they did. The hackers did it for kicks, never mind the money.
“San Junipero” was really good and totally Eighties. There was the “White Christmas” special starring Jon Hamm of MAD MEN fame.
If it’s not for you, it’s not for you. I felt I made myself get through it & was glad I did!
